MARITIME LABOUR CONVENTION ALSO KNOWN AS "A SEAFARERS BILL OF RIGHTS The 94th (maritime) session of the international labour conference(ILC) Geneva feb. 2006 adopted the maritime labour convention 2006 (MLC2006) It is an important new international agreement that consolidates almost all of the existing ILO maritime instrument in a single modern globally applicable legal instrument.
